Our school was the recipient of the prestigious Dimdima trophy for the sixth consecutive year. This award is given for the maximum contributions published in the given year. 


Aahel Paul (IV E)   He won the gold medal in Boys Kata and Kumite 12yrs category in East India Open Karate Championship. He also won the gold medal in the Team Kata, and silver medal in the Kumite category in the 2nd International Open Karate Championship.He won the gold medal in the 9 yrs Male Kumite and the bronze medal in 9 years Male-Kata category in– Invitational Karate Championship.


Rajdeep Sarkar (X B)  
Rajdeep Sarkar (X) made the school proud by participating in several Chess Championships and winning accolades for himself. He has recently won the National under-17 chess championship 2015 held at Bangalore, Karnataka.
He is also a gold medal winner in the Asian schools chess championship 2015, held at Singapore. He is a bronze medal winner in the Asian schools Blitz Chess Championship 2015.
His latest feat includes the Champion’s position in the Commonwealth Chess Under-18 Chess Championship 2016 held at Colombo in Sri Lanka. He also secured the 4th place in the Asian Youth Under-18 Chess Championship 2016, 5th place in the Asian Youth Rapid Chess Championship 2016 and the 6th place in the Asian Youth Blitz Chess Championship 2016 held at Mongolia.His current FIDE rating is 2223. (He is just a few points away from becoming a Grand Master – Juniors )


Arnisha Chowdhury (IX E)  

Arnisha Chowdhury (IX) is an ace Rifle shooter. She won accolades in the following categories:
Ranked 4th in the individual category and 1st in the Team Category in the West Bengal Open-Air Weapon Shooting Championship 2016.
Selected for the State and National Level Peep-Sight Rifle Shooting Competition. Participated in the CBSE East Zone Rifle Shooting Competition and bagged the 1st position.
Secured the first position in the CBSE National Shooting (ARW) Meet organised by Sunbeam Academy, Varanasi in the U-17 category.
In the 62nd National School Games 2016-17, organised by School Games Federation of India and recognised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India held at Hyderabad, Telengana, Arnisha participated in the Rifle Shooting Competition in the U-17 Girls’ category.
She secured the 4th position and qualified for the World School Meet at Netherlands to be held in May 2017. She participated in the 60th National Shooting Championship held at Pune and qualified for the international trials.
She has been selected for Asian Games 2018 and German League.
She is ranked 28th by International Shooting Federation.
